Extremely rare Springfield Model 1795 Type I Musket. This musket shows many characteristics of the early guns. There is no date on the buttplate or lock. Stock is in great shape and has “Maryland” branded into it. This was done on early state militia guns. Metal has a dark grey/brown patina. This is one of the rarest shoulder arms a collector can have! You don’t see these come up for sale very often!
