Description:
As Japan's rifle during World War II, the Arisaka Type 99 was used in every major battle between Japan and the United States. Despite its undeserved poor reputation sprouting from the last ditch effort rifles manufactured at the end of WWII, the Arisaka is a strong, well-built battle rifle. This Type 99 was manufactured in the Toyo Kogyo Arsenal between 1939 and 1945, and has matching serial numbers on the bolt and receiver. It's in good condition, with some oxidation on all metal surfaces, and edge wear on the bolt and trigger guard. The wood has marks, dings, and dents throughout, all common with military rifles of this kind. The mum has been struck through.
