US Model 1840 Light Artillery Saber. Blade is marked “US / ADK / 1863” on one side and “Ames” on the other. Hilt is brass with wire wrapped leather grip. Blade is 32” and overall length is 38”. Scabbard has a brown patina. Overall very good condition.
