Description:
Here is a high art Antique German Percussion Double made in Suhl by Iung & Sohn. Extensive carving on a well figured stock with a wolf head forend tip, game scene on the butt stock and silver stud nails in the skip line checkering. Steel engraved butt plate. Silver engraved oval. Excellent quality engraved locks, check out the internal view. I have show a sequence of fired, to half cock to fully cocked. In all three positions the dolphin hammers are completely aligned. Excellent bores with right measuring .595 and left at .598 - a tight 20 gauge. Barrels are 32". Ribs are tight. No ramrod. This is a fully functional gun. LOP is 13 1/8". Weight is an elegant 6 LBS 2 1/4 OZ. As an antique this can be shipped directly to you as local law allows. Shipping is $40.
