This is the perfect .22 caliber 1911-style pistol for plinking or for a young shooter. The Browning 1911-22 Compact model is a down-sized 1911 with a 3 & 5/8ths" inch barrel and 10-shot magazine, that weighs just 15 ounces. All of the controls are the same as found on a full size 1911A1, making it easy to learn for young shooters and an easy transition to experienced shooters. This semi-auto pistol features a blow-back action, an alloy frame, fixed sights, and checkered black rubber grips. This particular example is a two-tone desert tan and black combo, and is in excellent condition overall. As you can see from the pictures, this pistol looks great and shows only some tiny handling/storage marks in the finish. The bore is in perfect shape, as are the original grips and internals. All of the controls are in perfect working order, this Browning should shoot just as well today as the day it left the factory. This 1911-22 Compact comes with the original plastic box/carrying case, owner's manual, and one factory magazine. This pistol would be the perfect addition to any collection as a fun plinker, or the perfect gift for a young person new to the shooting sports.
