Description:
These three limited edition shotguns have the same serial number (Serial #49). The Legacy Limited Edition (1 of 250) was produced in 2000 as part of the Millenium celebration. The SBE Tenth Anniversary was produced in 2002 for obvious celebritory reasons. These guns are NIB, in original packaging, and all the paperwork is included.The Legacy set consists of a 12 and 20 gauge. The 12 gauge haas ducks and a hunter on one side and geese on the other, both highlighted in gold. On the back of the receiver is a Labrador Retriever etched. The 20 gauge Legacy has pheasants on one side and quail on the other. Again, both engravings are highlighted in gold. On the back of the receiver, a Setter is etched. The Tenth Anniversary SBE has, etched in gold, geese on one side and turkeys on the other side of the receiver. On the back side of the receiver is a gold etching celebrating the tenth anniversary. The wood on all three of these guns would be classified as the factory's best no matter what factory in comparrison.
This set was produced almost 20 years ago and to find a matched pair is becoming much harder to locate and already is commanding an increase in value of 20%. To match the same serial with another commerative that was built two years prior is unheard of. To my experience and background, this set is the only one in existance. The three guns will be sold as a set and shipped in their original shipping cartons. The SBE carton appears worn as Benelli converted their shipping firearms in the foam box to the hard carry case.
