Interesting Single Shot German Proofed Percussion Pistol
.63 Caliber Pistol with BU Proofs
Here we present an antique German Proofed Percussion Pistol, made circa the Late-19th Century. This curious pistol seems like it would have been a one-off. It has a 7-inch, .63 caliber barrel. It features a percussion firing system with a laid over percussion nipple. The front sight is a simple bead. This is a very simple weapon that could have been used as a flare gun if not a rudimentary self-defense weapon.
The overall condition is very good. The metal surfaces are a dark gray with some blue on the bottom of the barrel. The markings are legible. The stock is in good shape. The bore is in good shape. The action on this pistol is strong.
