This Colt 45 A.C.P. was produced in 1922. The pistol's serial number is C- 133828. This civilian Colt is the standard government model 1911. It has the 5 inch original Colt marked barrel. The bore is bright and minty. The original charcoal bluing would rate a 95% overall condition. The grips are in very fine condition with the original finish intact. There are some flattened checkering points, mostly on the right panel. The original two tone magazine is in very fine condition with the high polish floor plate. The sights are original to this Colt. This pistol shows some light holster wear on the high points of the pistol. This pistol shows little use or being fired. The grip area has very little blue loss or wear. The slide is tight to the frame with no play. The trigger pull is crisp as expected. The original box is serial numbered to this pistol on the bottom. The box is in fine condition with only one area of top lid damage. The damaged area is carefully repaired. The labels are intact and easily readable. The inside labels are in fine condition. The box comes with the original booklet and cleaning brush. This certainly is a high condition collector grade Colt! Having it's original box is a real plus! There are not many early Colt 1911's that have their original boxes, brush and booklet's intact. This is one of them! Search for hlvfineguns on google for more details
