This modification was performed by the Armorer and Gunsmith for THE RIFLEMAN TV SERIES, Maurice "Moe" Hunt. Mr. Hunt built a total of 51 of these rifles prior to his passing and subject is #37. It was designed to faithfully reproduce an exact copy of the Rifleman's Winchester used in the famous TV series from 1958 to 1963, The Rifleman. These modified Winchesters have become collectible as the supply is fixed at 51 original Moe Hunt "FLIP SPECIAL RIFLES". This particular Winchester 1892 has good bore and is caliber 44-40. It comes with two operating levers as was common with these Moe Hunt "FLIP SPECIAL RIFLES". Also included is printed material from the TV Series along with an autographed photo from Johnny Crawford who plays Mark, the son of hero Lucas McCain (Chuck Connors). The inscription reads "To Earl - Take care of my Pa's Rifle. Johnny Crawford 2-19-05". Also included is an autographed photo of the original buyer with Moe Hunt, a CERTICATE OF AUTHENTICITY for #37 signed by Maurice Hunt and Johnny Crawford and additional printed material that came with gun too numerous to photograph concerning the TV Series.
