Description:
Caliber 22. Gun is elaborately done with deep carved stocks featuring multiple animals. Receiver is engraved also with the mythical goddess Diana, goddess of the hunt. On the other side is a couple of cherubs and a hunting scene with a couple of hunters coming up on some dead animals. Numerous gold inlays. All screws are decorated with gold trim. The forearm retaining pin has gold decoration. On the bottom of the receiver is a dog in a shaded background with gold motifs above and below it. The gun has a 30″ multi ribbed bbl with flat surface toward the receiver extending about a foot out on the bbl at the breech with numerous silver and gold inlays. Circassian style wood is excellent with most orig varnish. Swiss style buttplate is case colored and well engraved. Gun features a hooded globe front sight, an American made folding tang sight and a later replacement palm rest. Superb condition inside and out. Bbl has 95% bright shiny orig blue. Receiver has about 75% thinning case colors. A beautiful little gun. Hard to improve upon.
