Barrel marked: Patented 1858. Remington and sons. Illion New York USA. New Model. Small inspector initials in various places. Faint cartouche on right grip. Mechanics fine. Clean rifled bore. Walnut grips fine. Piece in very nice condition. Popular Civil War and Old West revolver. Antique, Not warranted for shooting safety.
