We are offering an Ithaca 5E in 12 gauge, one of many pieces we’re offering from the private collection of firearms and outdoors retailer/distributor Lew Horton.
Serial number 443502 has cocking indicators, ejectors, a center bead (both beads may be ivory), and English/straight stock, and an automatic safety. The barrel is marked “Best Fluid Steel” and all numbers match. A New Ithaca Double (NID), the serial number dates this to 1927. The buttpad has hardened and deformed over the years as the pictures show. We would rate this at 90%+.
