This is a very rare unfired Turner Kirkland 41 caliber percussion Brass Framed Derringer in original Mississippi River Law Book Box on the spine it states T. Edwards Kirkland. This fine little percussion derringer was popular with gamblers on the Mississippi River as a hideout gun. It was very deadly at close ranges, but small enough to fit into vest pocket or a coat sleeve. 2-piece European walnut grips with brass frame. .41caliber smoothbore. Percussion #11 caps. No sights.
