French Model 1777 Infantry Musket. Manufactured in St Etienne. Metal has a gray patina. Barrel is dated 1814. Proof mark is present and sharp. Stock is good, does show wear from use. The number “22” is marked below the barrel tang. These flintlocks saw heavy service during the Napoleonic Wars! Rare to find one in such great shape due to their service life.
