Description:
Serial #3507510, .30-06, 24" barrel with an excellent, bright bore. This is a handsome rifle has an early, four-groove “RA / 3-43" dated barrel and retains 95-97% of the original parkerized finish that has silvered slightly on some of the high edges and corners, as well as along the bearing surfaces of the bolt. The barrel and small components retain a like amount of their original dark blue finish with some light-moderate silvering at the muzzle. The walnut stock and handguard have been nicely refinished to excellent shape, and the “F.J.A.", Ordnance Dept., and manufacturing cartouches are still fairly clear and crisp. Minor handling marks and small blemishes are present throughout, and there is some mild freckling on the buttplate. This is a great looking World War II '03-A3 that has the desirable four-groove Remington barrel. FFL or C&R
