Smith and Wesson Model 60 #4098XX. This is the very earliest of the Model 60 often refferred to as the "First Model". This example has retained the original factory Case Hardened Hammer and Trigger. Smith and Wesson would replace with stainless if returned to a service rep. at no cost, most were... This example appears unfired with its original factory "High Polish" finish. Thats correct, the first 60's were polished.... Correct box (missing end label) with correct tools and factory paperwork remains.
