ORIGINAL COLT MODEL 1851 NAVY REVOLVER CIRCA 1866 IN REPRODUCTION CASE. Six shot .36 cal. percussion revolver with 7 ½” octagon barrel addressed “ADDRESS COL. SAML. COLT NEW-YORK U.S. AMERICA”. Original example with minor restorations. All matching original serial numbers on the correct parts for this time period including the cylinder. Wedge and lever which should not be serial numbered in this serial range have been numbered. Good barrel address and visible “COLT’S/PATENT” stamp on frame. Traces of cylinder scene. Added but old “US” stamp on frame which is not correct. Refinished overall and hammer screw replaced. Plugged holes in back strap and butt strap where a shoulder stock had been attached. Original grips. Good to very good overall and in perfect working order. Even has a good bore and chambers. Reproduction walnut case with reproduction flask and combination tool.
