Description:
A very nice '86 Swedish Mauser from my 60-year collection! Mfg in 1912 by the Carl Gustafs Armory, cal 6.5x55mm., Serial 305xxx. This beautiful Swedish '96 "tack driver" is in very good condition. Parts numbers on all pieces (including bolt) match serial's "last two", except the mag cover plate. All blued areas are very good, trigger group shows a little natural darkening but no corrosion. Bolt and its parts are shiny natural steel. All the wood is very nice walnut with hardly any dings (see the many photos attached). Bore is good with sharp shiny lands and clean grooves. Has typical brass maintenance/accuracy history plate, butt is lightly pitted.
Price includes the correct period-Swedish bayonet with scabbard and frog. Blade is lightly spotted but can be cleaned; must be included with the rifle.
THIS IS A VERY NICE SWEDISH MAUSER, for sale from my longtime collection of fine military weapons. Why not get the best example?
