This is a colt new service Fitz. custom by a unknown master gun smith and engraver of great talent. Its fully engraved and has some animals in the engraving. Ducks ,dear,dog,busk,rabbits. 2and 5/8 inch barrel, checkered hammer to make it single action if you wish. wood grips checkered in great condition, Minyt bore and cylinder, locks up both single action and double action solid as a new gun.ramped front sight and blade adj rear sight. this piece was a us property 1917 at the start , cylinder factory chambered for .45 acp . do need for half moom clips. The book by Fitzgerald and badge are included. The book is a collectors piece as its been incribed by the author himself.
