Description:
Serial #82143L, .303 British, 25" barrel with an excellent, bright bore. This is a post World War II, 1951 dated rifle that has matching numbers on the bolt, and on the correct, blocky nosecap. The metal has 90-92% of the original blue finish remaining, with fading and silvering along the high and exposed edges. The wrist band is marked with the Ishapore crown and RFI markings, and two Indian roundels are present on the left side of the buttstock. The forend and handguards are in fine shape with light surface marring and handling blemishes, numbered to the gun on the underside, just aft of the nosecap, and the buttstock has several small handling marks and surface blemishes under the armory re-applied varnish. A single original magazine is included, and the rifle rates fine condition overall. FFL or C&R
