Rare Colt "Buntline Special" 3rd Generation Model P1716 in 44 Special, SA34XXX . According to Don Wilkerson’s book, “The Post-War Colt Single-Action Revolver 1976-1986”, this Colt is 1 of 373 revolvers produced in this configuration. Of these 373 revolvers, 365 of them were produced during 1982. Features nickel plated finish with 12” barrel, fitted with smooth walnut grips. Condition is as new showing only minimal light handling marks. Complete with original Colt shipping carton with matching end label numbered to the revolver, hang tag & papers. This Buntline would make a nice addition to any Colt collection.
