Winchester Model 1894 Sporting Rifle .38-55wcf Factory 26 inch Octagon Barrel with TakeDown feature. The serial number of this example is 216XX placing date of manufacture in early 1895. Overall condition is excellent with 85-90% original factory rust blue toning to a very pleasant even plum / blue. The bore is very good with strong rifling and shine from breech to muzzle. The bore will rate an 8.5 on a 1 to 10 scale. The Take Down feature is tight and mechanically perfect. The Extra Fancy Walnut Stock is void of damage and has retained 95% of its original untouched factory varnish. Very nice untouched second year Antique!
