Description:
This is a very nice used Colt Model 1877 "Lightning" Storekeeper's Model 38 Long Colt; excellent bore, very good grips, 3.5'' barrel, Manufactured in 1882. Original factory nickel finish shows a lot of wear mostly on the cylinder and backstrap where it was in a holster. Also, has what appears to be the remants of a "Gold" wash finish.and checkered hard rubber grips. Matching serial numbers. Colt's address in two lines on top of the barrel. Patent dates in three lines on the left side of the frame along with the circled Rampant Colt logo. . Generous fire blue finish remains on the small parts and screws. Mechanically in fine condition.
