Goens - 25-06 Classic Custom Stocked Pre-64 Winchester Model 70 Made by Goens, The M-70 action was made in 1961, 22 1/2" barrel, No open sights, 2 piece Redfield bases with 1" rings, Leupold VX - 3i 3.5 - 10 x 40mm with their Boone & Crockett reticle which is 2 bars & 1 dot below the mid-point, The scope value is $500, Blackburn straddle hinged floorplate with a center bow release, A 3-position Model 70 wing safety, Four panel teardrop bolt knob checkering, Built up & checkered bolt stop release, Model 70 trigger, Jeweled bolt and follower, Goens classic stock on a nice piece of wood, Classic Goens wrap around Fleur-de-lis checkering pattern with a neat touch at the top of the forend panel and the bottom of the grip panel, Shadowline cheekpiece, Ebony forend tip, Sling eyes on the stock, Skeleton grip cap with wood checkering, 13 5/8" lop over a skeleton buttplate with wood checkering, 8 lbs. 1 oz., The original and total Goens blue remains at 99%, The original stock finish at 99%, The checkering is at 100%, The bore is new. I have handled over 3 dozen Goens rifles and this, I believe, is one of the most detailed and complete rifles I have had of his relative all the features and the workmanship.
