Patterned after the WW2 era P-38 pistol, these Walther P-1's were issued to the German Police in the early 1980's. This example was made in December of 1981 and is in very good overal condition and comes with the original holster and extra factory magazine. The bore is perfect in this Walther with no imperfections and nice strong rifling. The original matte blue finish on the slide and barrel P-1 is excellent, showing only minor handling marks and no real wear to speak of. The black finished alloy frame is also in great shape, only showing some very minor handling/storage marks and it has a perfect front grip strap. The original black plastic checkered grips are free from any cracks, chips, or repairs, and show only some light wear typical of an issued pistol. As you can see from the pictures, this is a handsome pistol rig. This pistol is in perfect working order, and all of the controls are 100% functional. We have no doubt it would shoot just as well today as when it left the factory in 1981. If you have been looking for a nice Walther P-1 rig, this all-original example would be an excellent choice.
