Description:
20 gauge Lefever nitro special built by Ithaca.Bruilt in the mid 1920s,this gun has 28" barrels choked modified ,015" and full .028".The barrels have great bores that are free of any rust, pits,or dents.The gun is mechanically very sound and locks up tightly with no barrel play.The receiver has turned a gray patina and retains only traces of case color.The barrels retain around 60% of the original blue.The stock and forned are sound with no cracks or damage.The checkereing has worn smooth and has had a coat of finish put ot over it.This is a fine hunting gun with lots of use left in it.It would make a great starter double for a young shooter or a back up gun for bad weather hunting.Very light at 6-0.Stock dimensions are 141/4"x11/2"x25/8".C&R eligible.
