A super nice original 54 in 270 here. Bright and shiny bore and a slick action with the bolt numbered to the rifle. These actions are simply awesome and the predecessor to the model 70. And this sucker works flawlessly. Original sights on this 1926 made 4 digit Rifle. Folding two leaf and an early Lyman 48 “rounded edge”. Uncut stock with original floorplate. No extra holes anywhere. Orignal two stage trigger. Even has the original sling eyes and hook swivels. Most likely, I’ll be dead and gone by the time I’m 93 with my hazardous lifesyle. But....if I am still alive it sure would be nice if I can still turn people on like this can.
