Description:
This is a very nice, all original Winchester Model 1866 Rifle. Serial number#36646 B. Manufactured in 1870. Has a 24" Octagon barrel. Bore is an easy 6 on a one to ten scale. Bore has strong lands and grooves. Action works perfectly and locks up tight. All markings are complete and correct, and original. Wood to metal fit is excellent. Brass has a very nice un-cleaned patina. Original blue remains on the magazine tube, barrel and loading gate.
