Caliber 38-40. 24 inch octagon barrel and full length mag tube. Original sights. Good shootable bore. Wood retains a considerable amount of original varnish. A few light handling mars and dings but sound and solid. Rifle style buttplate. Overall gun is in very nice condition with about 60-70% original blue starting tone somewhat. Sharp corners. Excellent markings. Crisp tight action. Gun is in the early 2nd model serial range of 73k. Quite unusual to have a 38-40.
