This all-original 1913-dated Erfurt P-08 Luger in 9mm is a nice honest example that is all-matching except for the magazine, which is a period original but not numbered to this pistol. This 1913 model is unique in that it has the stock lug on the backstrap, only a small percentage of the 1913 production Lugers had the lug as it wasn't standard until 1914. As you can see from the pictures, there is a great deal of original blue finish on the gun as well as a good percentage of original straw. The bore in this Luger is superb, mirror-bright with like-new rifling and no pitting, erosion, or imperfections visible. The original grips are in good condition, free from any cracks or major damage outside of a little chunk missing below the safety lever, very common for these guns. As mentioned before, all of the numbered parts match in this Luger, and it has not been altered or "improved" in any way. All of the controls are 100% functional and the pistol is in perfect working order. If you have been looking for a nice honest example of one of these famous pistols for your military weapons collection, this 1913 Erfurt would be an excellent choice. It has a great original look to it and excellent bore, but has enough finish wear/age that you could shoot it without feeling guilty.
