It is not a rebuild. All the parts are original and correct for the serial number range and date of production. The bore is bright and new looking. The original finish is intact on all the parts and barrel. It has the correct wide groove handguard. The stock has the correct codes in the sling cut. The sling and oiler are correct early World War Two issue. The flat bolt bluing is faded on the top. All the parts in the bolt are correct for this gun. The stock and handguard have no cracks or other damage. The sights are original to this carbine. The magazine is the correct magazine for this Inland. This carbine shows very little service use or wear. It was never fitted for a type 3 barrel band. The internal parts are in very fine to near new condition. This is a very difficult early carbine to find in original condition today. Most of these guns were rebuilt and upgraded during the war and afterwards.
