Description:
This Factory Engraved Colt Pocket Navy Conversion is excellent showing much original finish. The finish on this type of Colt is extremely scarce. Blue and Color Case hardened finish on a Pocket Navy conversion is not to often found. Normally you will find the nickel examples. The grips on this gun are select Burl wood. The Colt shows almost all of the original high polish deep blue with the frame showing 80% color case hardened finish. Much of the cyilnder scene is visible but unfortunately there is a drag line from a screw that someone did. Overall that is the only issue with the entire revolver. The revolver has a great appearence and is absolutely excellent quality. The engraving is of the late vine scroll likely done by Gustave Young. Very hard to find and sought after example! Worth a lot more then my asking price, but just looking to move this one.
