Marlin 336A .30-30 Win lever rifle, dated to 1980. The 336A was the improved version of the 36A, originally manufactured 1948-62, and was reintroduced from 1973-1980. The rifle features fine, checkered walnut furniture, with a beautiful blue finish and a 24" barrel with a 2/3 length magazine tube. The rifle utilizes the classic 336 action mechanism, and also has a JM stamp on the barrel. The rifle is in excellent condition and appears to have seen light use, and was well cared for by its' previous owners. The rifle is also fitted with a Weaver rifle scope with fixed 4x magnification, and a hammer extension. The action is smooth and the bore looks excellent. Please refer to the photos to further assess the condition of the rifle. This is a truly wonderful example of a classic 336 rifle, and its ready for the woods once again! **SOLD**
