Manufactured in 1957. Second year production for the .38 Special and comes with factory letter and correct black box. Blue and case color are strong throughout the gun with a slight drag line, very light muzzle wear on left and just a hint of thinning on the straps (straps look better than pictures indicate). Mint bore and I would rate the revolver as 95%. Ships insured to FFL or C&R for $50.00
