Description:
This is a very strange Nagant Revolver and possibly a prototype as it has the serial number 9 in several places and we have had hundreds of Nagant Revolvers over the years but never one with unusual features like this one. First of all it is in a 9mm Center Fire caliber, with Belgian proofs and also a German Crown over V proof. It has some odd features, including a finger extension on the trigger guard, and an Ejector Rod in a housing that is integral with the barrel. This last feature we have never seen on a Nagant revolver. On the frame is a marking Modele over NS over 1883. Condition is very good with bright original blue showing on the frame and most other metal a very nice patina, and without pitting. The quality of workmanship on this revolver is superb. Grips are original with fine checkering and in excellent condition. Chambers are excellent and bore is very good to excellent condition. Also has original lanyard ring on butt. Revolver is in perfect working order and completely serviceable.
