Description:
An early 1859 Sharps pepperbox in great condition. serial #9966 all matching; frame, barrel and grips retainer. The original silver plating is gone but only under the grips. Original walnut grips are extra fine; 100% checkering, no chips or cracks. The barrels are faded out blue/gray.No dings or deep scratches, only minor handling wear on the brass frame. Markings are all sharp. Bores are shiny with strong rifling. Mechanically tight and crisp. This pepperbox seems to have been seldom fired and well taken care of over the 160 years.
