This has an 8” barrel and is serial number 6392 with matching numbers and was made 1877-1878. The mechanical function and index is very good and the bore has heavy frosting with strong rifling. The cylinder has 35-40% cylinder scene. Any remaining finish was stripped off so it is now a gray color. The grips are still original but has a left toe nick and the right grip has the bottom edge worn. This is a very neat old Indian Wars Period Conversion and should be a very good shooter. I would consider trades for pre 1899 ANTIQUE PISTOLS and rifles on any of my items.. WHAT DO YOU HAVE TO TRADE? Ask about our 30-90 day lay-away program.
