Description:
Kimber Model 8400 Classic Select Grade in .300 Winchester Short Magnum. Features a black matte barreled action, 24" sporter barrel, Model 70 style bolt action with controlled round feed, claw extractor, three position safety and push button floor-plate release. Stocked in French walnut with beautiful contrasting grain with fine-line checkering, metal grip cap, ebony forend cap, hand rubbed oil finish, sling swivel studs and a Kimber marked, Pachmayr Decelerator, recoil pad. Weighs a scant 6 3/4 Lbs. The rifle is in near new condition, with the only flaws are a pair of small nicks on the left side of the butt-stock (see last photograph and zoom in.)
