Description:
Winchester Model 12 Serial #933191. This beautiful and unusual Winchester was made in 1942. The purchaser, a relative of a close friend, bought this gun new in 1943. Within a few months after buying the gun he left for service in World War II. Upon returning after the war he hunted with the gun and kep[ it in great working condition. As you can see by the pictures the shotgun carries very special wood and the metal finish remains very clean. The shotgun is equipped with a 30" plain barrel and is choked Full. There is slight blue wear on the trigger guard. The stock has the correct early checkering of 20 lines to the inch and the proper grip cap. The length of pull is 14 1/8" and drop at comb is 1 5/8". This is one of the cleanest pre-war Model 12s you will find.
