Description:
The 638-3, 5-shot lightweight stainless .38 Special with the classic 2 inch barrel, beefed up the J-frame sufficiently for it to handle High Performance +P ammunition, yet only weighs 14 5/8 ounces empty. Grips are boot grip, softer rubber panels that give a surer grip without increasing the dimensions of the revolver. With a snag-free shrouded hammer still giving single action option while maintaining concealability. This one has been shot more than carried, based on the lack of obvious wear and rings around the cylinders.
