Description:
This original Mauser Model 66 is a right hand bolt action rifle in .30-06 Cal. It has a 24 inch barrel and checkered grip walnut pistol grip stock with a raised cheekpiece and rosewood cap. Trigger is smooth and breaks cleans. Features a Leupold Vari-X IIc 3-9x40mm. Bluing is still very bright. The right side of the stock shows some wear marks as indicated in the photos, possibly refinished in that area, rosewood end underneath on fore end has minor scuff marks, and on the left side before the checkering there appears to be a "bubbling" appearance. Overall still a very solid firearm.
