Description:
Serial #5361, 9mm Browning Long, 5" barrel with an excellent, bright bore. This is the early type pistol without finned barrel, and retains 95-97% of the original blue finish that has silvered slightly along the high edges, and faded slightly in a few spots where the metal is starting to turn to a smooth plum-brown. The trigger retains 80-85% of the original color case-hardening with the balance turned smooth, pewter gray, and the mitre-shaped firing pin cover at the rear of the slide is no longer present, however the action remains fully functional. The original checkered horn grips are in very good shape with scattered areas of light wear and some flattening of the points, mostly on the left panel. The pistol comes with a single original magazine, and rates very good-fine condition. It is a splendid candidate for restoration. FFL or C&R
