Description:
Serial #1408d, 9mm Para., 4" barrel with a very good bore that has light freckling within the grooves. This is a 1916 dated pistol that has matching numbers on most of the components (the firing pin is numbered to a different gun) and retains 85-90% of the original blue finish that exhibits mild silvering and minor pitting at the muzzle, as well as silvering and fading on the projecting edges and bearing surfaces. The small parts retain traces of the original straw color remains, but are mostly freckled gray on the trigger, take-down lever, safety, magazine release, and ejector. The checkered walnut grips are numbered to the gun on the interior, and have minor surface wear on either panel with some flattening of the points and a few very small handling marks. A single, non-matching, wooden base magazine is included. This is a very good-near fine WW1 Luger, and would make a nice addition to a collection. FFL or C&R
