Plant's Front Loading Six-Shot Revolver .42 caliber cup fire period converted to .41 Colt short CF, 6" octagonal barrel with rib, S/N 2202. Marked Merwin & Bray New York on the left side of the barrel. Blue finish barrel and cylinder, silver-plated brass frame. Rosewood grips. Barrel and cylinder have a nice light brown patina with crisp markings. Frame has most of the silver-plated finish, some wear to the high edges. Grips are dark with some scratches. Small chip on the point of the right grip.
