This all-original 1916-dated DWM P-08 Luger in 9mm is a nice honest example that is all-matching except for the magazine, which is a period original but appears to be force numbered to this pistol. As you can see from the pictures, there is a good deal of original blue finish on the gun and a small percentage of original straw. The bore in this Luger is very good but does show some mild corrosion. The original grips are in good condition with the exception of a vertical crack in the right grip panel which has been repaired. As mentioned before, all of the numbered parts match in this Luger, and it has not been altered or "improved" in any way. All of the controls are 100% functional and the pistol is in perfect working order. If you have been looking for a nice honest example of one of these famous pistols for your military weapons collection, this 1916 DWM would be an excellent choice. It has a great original look to it and a good bore, but has enough finish wear/age that you could shoot it without feeling guilty.
