This Colt 2nd Generation Model 1851 Navy is one of the first 1,000 manufactured which was shipped in the hinged Colt black box. This 1972 vintage 1851 Navy is new/unfired, with beautiful Colt Royal blue finish and color case hardened finished frame, loading lever, and hammer. The silver plated trigger guard and back-strap have tarnished nicely and the grips are in like new condition. Sorry, does not include any other paper-work. The Colt 1851 Navy, especially with the square-back trigger guard, are considered by many to be one of the most attractive Colt's ever made. FFL not required.
