Description:
This is a very nice Springfield Armory 1898 Krag rifle. It has a 30” blued barrel with a good bore. Overall this nice rifle retains most of the blue with some thinning and loss. It has the standard 1898 receiver markings. 1902 rear sight. Fine smooth walnut stock scattered with bumps and dings, possibly lightly sanded as cartouches are slightly smeared. Fine script JAS/1903 cartouche on reverse wrist and circle-P proof behind trigger guard.
