Description:
WWII NAZI German Luftwaffe Officer’s Visor Cap. Constructed of bluish-grey midwar grade wool, featuring a traditional high peak crown with officer’s piping along the crown. The insignia of the cap consists of an officer’s cap eagle, constructed of aluminum in the shape of an eagle clutching a swastika in its talons, as well as a winged wreath with a national tri-coloured cockade in the center. The interior of the cap is lined in a yellow coloured silk fabric, the crown portion of the cap inside has a clear celluloid diamond. Inside crown shows water stains as does top of the cap. The writing on the celluloid diamond is worn off. The sweat band is stained. I do not see any moth holes.
