RARE WINCHESTER MODEL 1895 DELUXE .405 W.C.F. CAL. RIFLE CIRCA 1904 WITH LETTER. All original and matching in the 46,xxx serial range for 1904 production. 24” round “NICKEL STEEL” barrel. Original post and beaded blade front sight. Folding elevation adjustable rear sight. Model 1895 Winchester Side Sight factory tap holes on left side of frame. First year production for the .405 W.C.F. Both frame and barrel with Winchester proofs. Deluxe factory checkered stock and forend. Old factory solid rubber pad in good condition. Excellent condition with most of the original blue with light wear and patina. Stock and forend with the original finish. Shows moderate use but is very handsome and in tight working order. Exceptionally nice bright bore very sharp rifling. Rare Deluxe 1895 in the most desirable caliber. Letter sent for. Letter says was shipped July, 1904 as is checkered with factory rubber pad
