Description:
1855 Springfield pistol in fair to good condition. Sharp lockplate markings with musket replaced primer door that was cut down to fit. barrel proofs are gone but part of 855 is visible in front of rear sight missing leaves. 58 caliber bore is good with pitting. but swivel ramrod is original. Stock showing no inspectors markings with crack partially through on stock at wrist. Repaired crack through the bottom of lock to other side. Needs to be redone. Replaced ring at the buttcap. Overall a decent reasonably price US martial pistol with no stock.
